HOW DOES VIBRADERMABRASION WORK?
Vibraderm employs a patented vibrating fixed abrasive surface that gently and evenly removes layers of the stratum corneum (the rought outer layer of the skin) leaving the skin very smooth and polished. As treatments continue, both the epidermal and dermal layers of the skin are improved.

In a recent clinical study, 85% of subjects preferred the Vibradermabrasion system over conventional microdermabrasion. There was noticeably less post-treatment redness and edema after the Vibradermabrasion treatment compared to standard microdermabrasion

HOW DOES VIBRADERMABRASION DIFFER FROM OTHER MICRODERMABRASION?
In the past, microdremabrasion machines have used particles of aluminum oxide or other crystals to "Sandblast" the skin. These tools treat a very small spot size, making large areas difficult and time-consuming to treat. Crystal-type machines can be rough and irritating to the skin. In addition, Aluminum oxide and crystal microdermabrasion machines have been shown to leave residues in the skin causing inflammatory reactions and contact dermatitis and actually worsening the skin condition one is trying to improve. Further, studies have shown aluminum oxide and crystal machines can cause respiratory tract problems for both patients and technicians.

Vibraderm uses no crystals and no suction, avoiding potential complications of other machines that use crystals and suction, such as erythema (redness) for a couple days to weeks, or creation or worsening of unsightly blood vessel formation on the skin.
